YB Dr. Zaliha Mustafa, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), accompanied by YBhg. Dato' Indera Noridah Abdul Rahim, Director General of the Federal Territories Department (JWP), and YBhg. Datuk Ramlee Yatim, Deputy Director General (PPe) JWP, visited Labuan Hospital to review its operations and management.
Operational since 1995, Labuan Hospital employs 685 medical staff and offers 12 specialist services. For the first time, the hospital will also feature its own Sterile Pharmacy Centre, which will produce chemotherapy drugs and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) locally, expected to be fully operational by August 15, 2024.
The briefing, led by Labuan Hospital Director Dr. Adnan Musa Balidran, provided an overview of the hospital’s background and operational procedures.
